There is no custom of tipping
Of course, there is no problem even if you pay it so let's pay the tip with gratitude. If you are worried, please refer to the prices below.

[Restaurant] Not required except for luxury resutaurants. Even if it is a luxury resutaurant, it is not necessary if a service charge is added.

[Hotel] For bell boys and room service, you will pay around 10,000 to 20,000 dong.

[Tour guides and drivers] For private tours, you will pay around 50,000 to 100,000 dong per day. In the case of a cheap tour, it is OK even if you do not pay.

[Massage and Spa] You will pay 50,000 to 100,000 dong. Check if there are tips or service charges included in the price.

[Taxi] Not required.

Wet towel

Vietnamese mannersWet towels come out at restaurants and stalls, but basically there is a charge.

2,000-4,000 dong will be added, so don't panic when accounting.

Of course, if you don't use it, you won't pay, so if you have a wet tissue from Japan, you should use it.

 

Taboo
